Opening the rear cover

On the Micro5 from series 2 (SN/002025 onwards), the rear part is equipped with a movable cover that opens upwards.

Prerequisites

  1. The system must be powered down. .

  2. Prevent the system from restarting. .

  3. The components attached to the rear cover must have been removed (air intake/filtration systems)

Procedure

  1. Switch off the machine and secure it against unintentional power supply..

  2. Disconnect, disassemble and remove the air intake and filtration system

  3. Unlock the cover and pivot it up to the highest level.

  4. Make sure the restraint system is properly engaged before releasing the hood handle.

Closing

Rear part of the machine

  1. With one hand, lift the cover slightly using one of the handles.

  2. Release the restraint system and gently lower the cover to the lowest level.

  3. Unroll the cover.

The rear part contains electrical connections. The opening of the rear cover must be done by trained personnel and only after a complete risk analysis.

Risk of crushing

The rear part has moving parts. The machine starts automatically. The paths, speed and mass of the moving parts present a danger of serious injury. The opening of the rear cover must be done by trained personnel and only after a complete risk analysis.

Important

Do not open the cover while equipment is still attached. The cover is not intended to be handled or held open with an attached air intake and filtration system. Remove these systems before handling the rear cover.

Important

The rear cover must remain in the closed position when the machine is in use. The swivel and holding system is not designed to withstand the movements and forces generated during use of the machine.
