Inspection intervals and service parts

Inspection frequency

The inspection intervals are defined for critical components and the following recommendations apply for average use under optimum conditions:

- Daily ≃ Summary controls

- 250 hours ≃ Monthly maintenance 
- 2000 hours ≃ Annual maintenance
- 6000 hours ≃ Every 30 months
- 12,000 hours ≃ Every 5 years

These values are given for information only and may vary. Taking into account the installation and usage conditions allows for a more accurate estimate of the optimal inspection frequency.

Maintenance activity

The maintenance activities determine the component checking method:

- Visual inspection = check of the component's condition (measurement, appearance, condition, etc.), with or without disassembly.
- Functional test = check of the component's condition based on its operation, with or without disassembly.
- Replacement = Systematic exchange of the component at the defined interval.
