Coolants and lubricants
The following lubricants are recommended for machining with the Micro5 :
Oil spray lubrication system
Blasomil 10 for harder to machine metals.
Order from the e-Shop: 016 408Blasomil CSF 10 for non-ferrous metals, free from chlorine and sulfur which can cause discoloration on parts.

The two oils are very similar and can be used for both types of material if the requirements are not extremely strict.
Fire risk
However, beware of the flash point with an oil of viscosity class ISO VG 10. When machining steel or titanium, the risk of smoke is high, so you have to be careful about fires. If the machining operations are more about drilling small holes, there is no problem. In case of larger machining operations, the viscosity (ISO VG 15 / VG 22) should be reviewed.
